Once you complete the questline, you can return to where the Netherwing settled in Thaldraszus (61,73) and see them moving in and settling. The Nether Drakes use the new DF model, and you can see them flying outside the cave too!
If you speak to them, they are voice acted. "Oh, you're corporeal."
Inside the cave is Mordenaku, who is Mordenai and starts the Netherwing reputation questline in Shadowmoon Valley.
He is speaking to Tyrygosa, a blue dragon who assisted the Nether Drakes in Netherstorm under the guise of Tyri. There is a quest chain where Tyrygosa studies the Nether Drakes and prevents them from falling under the sway of malevolent powers.

Description
First he opposes dragonkind, then he enslaves them, denying them their birthrights. We shall visit these so-called "Halls of Valor," defeat any who oppose us, and liberate the storm drakes from that which binds them. Come along.
