I had the same buggy issue, not being able to interact with the stone.
I had two quests about vision walking in my list, Wey'nan's Ward and this one, Aln'hara's Bloom.
Wey'nan's Ward was completed, but not handed in. I flew back to the quest giver and handed in WW, flew back and NOW could interact with the stone.
I dont know whether flying away from the Veilroot Clearing zone and back worked, or handing in the other quest was the blocker.
Try handing in any outstanding vision walking quests if you have them...or fly away and back.

BUGGED. I show up at the stone.....: You must meditate. Hmm...wtf does blizz want me to do here?
Another quest where the quest text is more than useless. Their excuse is that the player needs to figure out what to do. Great in theory but if the quest is so bugged that the HAND symbol used to open the door does not show up ,then this cant be completed. BUGGED
When given the quest I "meditated at the vision stone" and could do nothing more. Logging out, and then logging back in, changed the status of the quest to completed so I could turn it in. I did nothing except relog when the quest bugged out on me.

What to do
Description
When I was young in the path of a Zur'ashar, I heard a tale of a gift from Aln'hara: "A sign of the goddess, felt in the stillness." Unfortunately, all those who were there to experience the event eventually passed on before we learned the secrets of our special paint. Would you walk the memory that surrounds the bloom and find out if this theory is true?

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- The Cauldron of Echoes
For untold eons, the Cauldron of Echoes has rested in shadow, its purpose obscured by time. When I first walked the path of the Zur'ashar, my master spoke of its significance--a relic tied to the very origins of our kind. Yet its secrets eluded even them... a mystery left unanswered.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- The Echoless Flame
The Echoless Flame's fate is lost to time. Down through the ages, it was whispered that the lantern contained the power of Aln'hara herself. But now, it lies dormant--a shell without even a flicker left within. Perhaps you can uncover its secrets where others have failed?
