TheWoWDBIf for some reason you try and equip the curio and Brann's pane shows up just leave and re-enter the Delve. It fixed it for me.

Adding the curio via the adventure guide will not complete the quest until you enter a delve. If you added it that way, once you enter a delve it'll immediately complete
I wasn't able to complete this at first - if it's not visible on your tracked quests list (like it wasn't for me), then you won't be able to see the text that says "Click to complete".
