You have to go to [zone=7805] instance, defeat the final boss — Dantalionax and loot [item=139319] from his body. Normal, heroic and even mythic are ok to do this quest, but not mythic+, because there is no loot from bosses.

Don't one-shot the boss. It needs to go to the last phase of the fight. Just aggro the boss by coming close to him and then kill them one by one.

Description
This thing is ancient. Just turning the pages risks them disintegrating in my hands. Here, I have found it. An entry about the Raven's Eye. <Valeera traces her finger from left to right above the page. A look of discovery comes over her features, which is quickly replaced by a frown.> It says here that the last person to have possession of the eye was Lord Ravencrest himself. You are going to have to go into Black Rook Hold and take it from him.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Inside the dungeon: Black Rook Hold
Carved from the greatest mountain of Val'sharah by ancient elven masons, Black Rook Hold stood as a bulwark against the Burning Legion during the War of the Ancients. The nigh-impregnable fortress is also the ancestral home of Lord Kur'talos Ravencrest, one-time mentor of Illidan himself.

Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Eternal Unrest
My ancient ancestors are buried here in the cemetery to the west. Because of whatever is causing the dead to rise, their souls are now at unrest. All blood elves are descended from high elves, who in turn came from these lands before they were sundered. I cannot bring myself to do it.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Deciphering the Letter
We have the Raven's Eye. Use it, <name>. Decipher the SI:7 letter. We must know what secrets it contains!
