I really just gotta rant/warn about this quest. If you aren't max level, this is one of THE most obnoxious world quests to do. The enemies spawn at a crazy rate, are packed in super close. If you die, forget about rezzing and being able to get away, they will just mob and kill you again if you are alone. I really wish this was better, but I guarantee it's not a high enough priority to change. Just never do this one at low level.
This quest does not take place in the cavern, it is on the mountaintop. You can get there easily gliding from Stonehoof Watch, Highmountain.
