Fight him at 67,10 on the hill, easily solo'd by a horribly geared L70 Unholy Death Knight, a nice tip is to have him fighting you with you uphill of him, when he knocks up up and back you land with NO FALL DAMAGE. Super easy with that trick.

Hey guys, when you rate down someone's helpful strategy of killing this guy, in essence, you're being retarded. People like me and others want strategies so that they can complete the quest easily- and rating down people's ways of killing monsters particularly such as this one just makes you ignorant. What good does it do if you rate down other people's helpful comments?
I soloed this guy at 70 as a priest in S1/S1 gear as of beta build 8788. Also, it's worth mentioning that you can use the temporary pet obtained during Rune of Command(http://wotlk.wowhead.com/?quest=11348) to help take him down if you think you might have problems. He's also immune to fear. Obviously, you should do these quests together.

What to do
Description
Binder Murdis created Megalith to be a kind of keystone for the runed giants and to lead them in their mission. Defeating Megalith will leave them lost and without direction. I will ask Chieftain Ashtotem to divert some of our men as we move north and dedicate them to eliminating the last of the runed giants. Without their giants, the Iron Dwarves cannot stand against us. Search the foothills of Frostblade Peak, north of Giants' Run for Megalith and defeat him!

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- Skorn Must Fall!
<name>, the vrykul fortress, Skorn, sits to the south. Its strange giants have recently awakened and have begun to spread, attacking us wherever they can. My scouts inform me that they are poised to strike at us here, but I do not have the strength to repel such a force.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- The Rune of Command
Can you feel the power emanating from the runes I've carved on this tablet? They're smaller versions of the runes that the Iron Dwarves are using. We'll use it to shut down their operation. Take it to Giants' Run and use it on a stone giant that the dwarves have not altered.
