Drag 'em Down

Drag 'em Down is a Horde-only quest for level 30-35 in Twilight Highlands. It is step 100 of 236 in the Twilight Highlands storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Twilight Highlands at 54.8, 44.2. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,800 experience and money.

Description

A single Dragonmaw drake is worth a dozen Wildhammer gryphon-riders. Take them off of their lice-ridden birds and they're nothing.

Even you can slay them easily, Horde-<class>.

Hunt gryphon riders flying over the river north of Bloodgulch. Take this hook and fling it at them as they fly by. Their momentum will hurl them from their mount, right to your feet. Finish them! Kill a few Thundermar gryphon riders and I'll believe your Horde is as mighty as you say.

I noticed while questing, a lot of people were trying to attack Gryphon Riders on the ground. If you see a Gryphon Rider on the ground, its most likely bugged and will evade all your attacks. You can only attack targets that you pull down with the chain. I'm sure a lot of people will come here to see if the quest is bugged, so I hope this helps.

<Griff's stomach growls.> Whenever we Dragonmaw go on the warpath, everyone stops hunting. The best tasting food is stolen from the mouths of the enemy. Up on the ridge north of the river there's a bunch of wrecked Wildhammer houses. I bet they're loaded with food. Bring some to my mouth.

The ground bleeds, <class>. They tear it open, as one would gouge flesh. These cultists relish their secrecy but the very elementals they use for their misdeeds can betray them. Seek out Obsidian Stoneslaves northeast of here, among the ruined earth we have named the Black Breach.
