TheWoWDBNot sure what's going on with this one. I am running quests for rep and hadn't done the Loch with this toon (human). When I got to the dig site this quest was not available. Nor was the followup quest.

Cant get this quest as a night elf either. Therefore i cant get the follow up that send u to the farstriders lodge. Luckily, u dont have to do this quest to start questing in the lodge.

Make sure you have completed Resupplying the Excavation, Protecting the Shipment, Keep Your Hands Off The Goods!, and Gathering Idols.
If you completed quests in this area prior to Cataclysm (patch 4.0.3), then there is a bug preventing the next quest, Joining the Hunt, from appearing. If you want to proceed, just head to Farstrider Lodge.

Description
Recently, just before the troggs surfaced within the site, we had uncovered a large number of strange, carved idols. But we didn't have the chance to study them, for soon after their discovery the troggs chased us away from the ruins! And those idols have a strange effect on the troggs. It makes them go berserk! Bring me 8 idols - I want to study them, and I want them out of trogg hands! You can find the idols on the troggs infesting the site.
