The dialogue during this quest:

Baroness Vashj says: Mephiles stands between us and Mor'Bitan. Just as I impeded your path to Illidan.

Mephiles the Loyal yells: Scour this marsh! Any animate will serve our purposes!
Mephiles the Loyal yells: Mor'Bitan demands results! Salvage all available anima!

Mephiles the Loyal says: Intruders! You will not interfere!

Baroness Vashj says: Excellent. Now show him what will happen if he does not cooperate.

Mephiles the Loyal says: Slay as many as you wish. I will tell you nothing.

Baroness Vashj says: Mephiles. How good of you to join us.

  • Prey Upon ThemMaldraxxus · Level 10-55

My mission cannot progress without a supply of anima. Fortunately, the necromancers nearby have been kind enough to gather some into their maldracite crystals. You will relieve them of those crystals. They may be reluctant to part with them, but I trust you can be... persuasive.
