If you've followed the green trail & reached (and likely killed) the 3-headed plant creature, but you're log still shows "Trail followed" as needing to be completed, you're okay! Just look by the blue stone up ahead and follow the blue/pink rainbow-like trail. That's the one you'll need to follow to complete this part of the quest.

This can get stuck on the last step, follow trail to end. Relogging didn't resolve it. I had to abandon and redo it.

Description

The wildlife seems to have been displaced from the south. It is there we will surely find answers. Come--I will use my magic to illuminate the path and we will follow the trail.
