I lost the Lost Sybille at the "Follow Lost Sybille" step, I think because I got into a dungeon during it. When I got out, he wasn't where it said he would be, and I couldn't find him anywhere to follow him again. So I abandoned the quest and Theotar offered it again. It put me at the last step (didn't have to re-do the first 3 steps), and the Lost Sybille appeared again at my location for me to follow. I couldn't find any comments anywhere about this, so I hope this helps someone who has this issue too.

As Theotar begins fading away, [npc=157763] suddenly jumps out at the player and runs off.
Lost Sybille says: Huddle to muddle!
Lost Sybille says: One befuddle, two from puddle.

The player begins to follow Sybille. Theotar follows along, struggling to keep a grip on his sanity the whole way.
Theotar says: Hidden... darkness... safe...
Theotar yells: RAAAAAGH!

Lost Sybille says: Light for sight and setting alight... hehehe...
Lost Sybille says: Hound uncrowned, found aground!
Lost Sybille says: Within akin!

Sybille finally leads the player to the Mad Duke's Parlor, where [npc=157802] and [npc=157801] are waiting.
Gubbins says: Light hurt Theotar!

Tubbins says: Tubbins and Gubbins can fix!
Tubbins says: Tea makes the bad Light go away!

Theotar says: Yes... I do... believe... a tea party... is... in order...

    Oh the Accuser sent you? How keen! I do, in fact, know the fate of Prince Renathal... at least part of it. When our assault on the Master's keep failed, we were both captured. I was banished to the Ember Ward, but the Prince was dragged off to Sinfall.
