If one of the big single mobs attacks you first and you get stuck at 35% you may have to abandon quest and start over. On my second try I just got waves of small mobs and completed it easily. Follow through the red gate to Sanctuary of the Mad after quest is done for good times.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • We Need More PowerRevendreth · Level 10-59

Laurent's plan is a bit ambitious. Mirrors are most reliable when used to traverse short distances. Traveling to the sanctuary will require a great deal of power, more than he or I have. The shrouded have stores of anima in their compound.

After this quest

Taken from a quest that requires this one.

  • Repair and RestoreRevendreth · Level 10-60

You've already attuned several mirrors without incident. I do believe it's time you try your hand at repairing them instead. It's quite easy once you've found the fragments, but there are a few things of note to keep in mind. Repaired mirrors are fragile and unpredictable.
