On my server, [npc=184395] was evade bugged for hours. The advice given from support was to create a bug report and then find someone from another server where it's not bugged and get invited into their group.

Easiest way to do this was to join an Antros world boss raid temporarily and when you switched servers, asking in General or yell for anyone that hopefully is nearby doing the quest to invite you to their group keeping you on their server.

When your frog is bugged here is a jenky workaround that worked for me (01.04.2022 /not a joke :D):

1. Go to the frog.
2. Que in the Dungen finder for an Antros world boss raid.
(2/b. Pray to be ported to a server where the frog is not bugged)
3. If the Frog is not bugged start killing it.
4. At 1-2% HP left, leave the raid group, you have to be quick (as you can't loot the quest item when in raid).
5. Leave the raid group, very quickly kill frog, loot (you have to be fast because the frog will be shortly despawn when you leave the raid)
6. Profit

It worked for me on the 2nd try.
I hope it helps until Blizz fixes the bug.

The right way to do this quest is to not kill any mobs for the Motes, but to just find them all on the ground. The mobs can drop the motes, but it's very rare.

The Jiro will help you find them, but you can lose him pretty easily. Just ride all over the quest area and find them yourself.

Description

The creatures of Untamed Verdure are ingesting everything in sight. They have consumed our Compilation Nodule, and the Composition Motes needed for compilation. We Jiro require these resources. This area is too hazardous for unprotected Jiro operation. Please help us reclaim our resources. Mai Obet will assist you.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
