Necessary Resourcing is a quest for level 60 in Zereth Mortis, added in Shadowlands. It rewards 8,150 experience.
Devourers are consuming neomotes.
We need neomotes for necessary creation work. Without them, we are unable to complete our work.
Eliminate the devourers and retrieve the neomotes.

For some reason only a fraction of the mites actually drop items making the collection of Neomote Residue unnecessarily annoying.
This quest doesn't have to be completed at Provis Esper, it can be completed in any area that has Devourers. For example the north west of the or south west of the zone. The travel time to those parts are longer, but the mites there actually have a reliable drop chance.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Steps, storylines and map placement from the client’s QuestLine, prerequisite and QuestPOI data; neighbouring quest text is Blizzard’s own (quest API), shortened to its opening sentences.
