Nothing is True is the Battle for Azeroth quest Which Witch? -- but without the humour. In Drustvar we get to poke Corelian refugees with [item=160571]. They complain or they reveal themselves as witches. In Zerith Mortis the instructions aren't quite as clear.
If we are dealing with dreadlords, they could be disguised as anything... including the denizens of Zereth Mortis.
The tool isn't named, but it's a [item=187839]. It's in your inventory and it’s a small usable icon in the Quest list on screen.Hmm who to test? Prick an automa who is a disguised dreadlord and you get a burst of red anima and a [npc=181668].
Testing automa who turn out to be just automa doesn’t count toward the quota. They pause and walk away.

Using [item=187244] allows you to see which automa are dreadlords
"...everything is permitted."
Also, the [item=187839] refers to the Dreadlord illusions as "glamours" - while this is a common term for altering your appearance magically, might this be a friendly jab at FF14? That game's "Transmog" system uses the same term.

What to do
Description
If we are dealing with dreadlords, they could be disguised as anything... including the denizens of Zereth Mortis. Fortunately we have just the thing for dispelling their illusions. Search the fields and test the automa. If you find any dreadlords, take care of them.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- This is Your Fault, Fix It
Provis Fauna is normally regulated by autonomous constructs, but there have been reports that they are no longer working. According to the reports, you are the one responsible for the tampering of these nodes. Which means it is on you to fix them.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- A Break in Communication
Mograine's request for reinforcements is unusual. We were already planning on reinforcing the area, and sent three different outfits his way. From the sound of it, none of them have arrived. See if you can find their commanders and make sure they make it to Mograine.
