IMO, the easiest way to complete this quest is to

1) stand NEAR a geyser,

2) click on the supplied quest item WHILE geyser is blowing,

and

3) click on the center of the geyser when it STOPS blowing

Once you are accustomed to the distance that you can jump when clicking
on the geyser, things get very manageable!

Description

Have you heard about the geysers? All over the newly exposed areas, water trying to fill where it was pulled away. The ocean, she is angry. I don't think she likes Azshara either. We will keep filling this in until we can find a permanent fix.
