Description

It is fortunate that we have found Alby. He has filled me in on the situation in the packing district.

It's not good, <name>.

The workers walk, yes. They work as if nothing is out of the ordinary, yet they are controlled by parasites. Mindstealers that force them to do their bidding.

It is they who contaminate the shipments.

You must destroy as many of those mindstealers as you can. Free the minds of the possessed!

This quest appears to be a little bit buggy at the moment.

Ranged classes, you may find that hitting [npc=125957] at max range will cause the [npc=125959] that emerge to disappear/phase out as the Dockworker escapes.

To alleviate this, as you're about to kill the Dockworkers, come in to about 15-10 yards of the mob as it dies, and the little blighters won't phase out.

If you have decent gear, you will have to be careful doing this quest.
I kept running into the problem of almost killing the civilian before the parasite jumps off.
They seem to pop off when the carrier reaches about 50% health.
What worked for me is doing one weak ability and auto attacking until it jumped off.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Evacuate the PremisesTiragarde Sound · Level 10-60

The people of Anglepoint need me to stand tall, to not panic in the face of the unknown. I will admit to not being the best at this. Even now, the fishpackers are handling the tainted product and preparing it for shipment. They are in great danger, and we cannot allow them to stay in harm's way.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Young Lord StormsongTiragarde Sound · Level 10-60

When the town fell, I got separated from my charge. Lord Stormsong is being held hostage in his own house. I should've been there to protect him. When you go in there, succeed where I failed. Bring him back safely.
