Prevent the Accord (Horde)

Prevent the Accord is a Horde-only quest for level 15-30 in Dragonblight. It is step 17 of 149 in the Dragonblight storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Dragonblight at 38.1, 46.2. It rewards 4 reward items, 1 reputation reward, 5,150 experience and money.

Description

We need to kill two birds with one stone here, <class>. You're the stone.

Our two birds are Wind Trader Mu'fah and Goramosh. They should be somewhere in the western half of the Moonrest Gardens. Most likely they're in the larger two-story building overlooking the pit.

I require proof of their demise, if you would be so kind.

Ok, this was a little vague to me, so here goes. First of all, the coordinates are incorrect. The building entrance is actually at 18, 59. If you look right where the steps begin, the wind trader spawns just around there, so stay by the building entrance. Once you kill him, enter the building, turn left, and run up the ramp to the first level with a circle indent, similar to how it is in Darnassus. Goramosh spawns right there. He drops an item which gives you a quest to go back to the archmage. Hope that helps

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Rifle the BodiesDragonblight · Level 15-30

The Moonrest Gardens to the southwest were the final resting place of a group of Highborne elves. It was also a ley line nexus. The blue dragonflight used a magical device they call a surge needle to destroy that nexus, freeing the power to redirect at their will.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • A Strange DeviceDragonblight · Level 15-30

Picking up this strange device, you are certain that it is magical in nature. Unfortunately, it doesn't seem to connote any other kind of use. Perhaps the archmage back at Agmar's Hammer to the northeast of the Moonrest Gardens would be able to tell what it's used for?
