Quest
Dahlia's Tears
A World of Warcraft quest in Dragonblight. Facts and objectives from the current retail game data.

I found the quest text to be annoyingly misleading, especially if you skipped much of Dragonblight. This should help some Alliance players.
Once you accept the quest from the top of the Wyrmrest Temple, head directly West. You should run into an area called Ruby Dragonshire. Once there, look around the inside ledge or top of the ledge for Alliance NPC's fighting undead.
They should lead you slightly inside of the Dragonshire, where a named NPC will call out about "Dragons incoming." The dragons will eventually blast the ground and the Dahlia's tears will appear, looking much like a herb an herbalist would pick.
If that is not as helpful, find Captain Iskandar and just follow him. He will lead you to the area where the tears will eventually be blasted into existence.
This quest works you have to wait till near the end of the wave the ruby watcher will nuke the ground with alot of fire after that the tears will spawn. It happens on the wave where the giests are running and the Guy yells East Pass now.

WoW Forever: what our data shows
A sighting in the beta client is a fact from our own database; the launch roster is Blizzard’s to finalize. World of Warcraft: Forever launches November 4, 2026. World of Warcraft: Forever is Classic+, launching November 4
Description
In this dark time, I'll not be the one to abandon a champion of the Light. We will need something sacred for this to have a hope of saving your Bridenbrad... a remnant of a devout being that fell victim to this very same plague. Go now to the sacred soil of the passages outside my Ruby Dragonshrine where the battle is joined. As my Ruby Keepers fly down and set flame to the ground beneath undead feet, you will witness new life grow forth. Among that life are Dahlia's Tears - bring them to me.

Where this quest fits
Before this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- The Touch of an Aspect
The dragon-queen, Alexstrasza, possesses magics over all life. In the past, she has used great fire to incinerate undead and rebirth fresh new life in their place. Perhaps her powers might be able to save our Bridenbrad as well.
After this quest
Taken from the storyline's own step order.
- The Boon of Alexstrasza
You must understand, young <race>, that cleansing the body in favor of life anew is something well within my grasp... removing the plague of undeath without affecting the body, however, is beyond the scope of the powers that I control.
