Razormaw

Razormaw is an Alliance-only quest for level 1-30 in Bloodmyst Isle. It is step 32 of 38 in the Bloodmyst Isle storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Bloodmyst Isle at 74.3, 34.2. It rewards 4 reward items, 1 reputation reward and 4,100 experience. Completing it counts toward 1 achievement.

Description

Many of the black dragonflight were slain during the attacks. One of them, a lieutenant of Deathwing himself, still haunts this place. If you look to the heavens, you can see his spectral countenance circling the skies. His hatred is so great that he remains even in death.

Take the bones that you gathered for me earlier to the top of the mountain on this island and place them in the ever-burning pyre. This act should signal Razormaw to descend. When he does, slay his undead form.

Note that when you click on the bonfire, the Bundle of Dragon Bones is taken from your inventory, so if you die without killing him, you will have to abandon the quest and get it again from Prince Toreth to get another bundle of bones with which to summon Razormaw.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Into the DreamBloodmyst Isle · Level 1-30

The whelps that you see on this island are the agitated spirits of the green dragonflight. Like me, they are bound to the land, unable to ascend to their final resting place in the Dream. Recovering the bones of the fallen has settled them somewhat but you must take further action.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Bloodcurse LegacyBloodmyst Isle · Level 1-30

Dear friend, My hand trembles as I ink this letter. I pray that it reaches you in time. Last night, Edward Hanes, captain of the ship 'Lost Hope', appeared before me in my tent. The same Edward Hanes that died of scurvy 20 years ago. This apparition told me a tale that made my heart tremble.
