Return to Dust is a Horde-only quest for level 20-60 in Nazmir. It is step 6 of 6 in the Cooking with Sethrak storyline, the final step. The quest's turn-in marker is in Nazmir at 25.5, 35.5. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 8,150 experience and money.

Description

It appears the sethrak are quite serious about keeping this gem. I do wonder where they found it in the first place.

Hrm... perhaps Lady Sylvanas would be interested in this as well. Something to ponder.

Ingrid believes this gem can unleash lightning and shadow magic of, her words not mine, epic proportions.

I do believe it would be best for everyone if you tested it out on the small sethrak army currently looking for us.

Conversation after you accept Return to Dust quest.

Clayton Backston: Boss, how did you survive? I saw you get cut in half.
Anna Bizrim: Ugh, Clayton, we're undead, of course we can survive getting cut in half.
Timothy Zarltin: Sometimes.
Chadwick Paxton: It's not the first time I've been cut in half. Hopefully, it'll be the last.
Anna Bizrim: When WAS the first you were cut in half?
Clayton Backston: ...That information is classified.

After you complete Return to Dust quest this conversation starts when you approach the group of undead.

Ingrid Bellix: Ahaha, that was amazing! And you're still alive!
Chadwick Paxton: That's a relief, but I believe it was tad over the top for my tastes.
Clayton Backston: Does it seem like overkill to anyone else that we annihilated several scores of sethrak over killing a few of us?
Anna Bizrim: No.
Timothy Zarltin: Nope.
Ingrid Bellix: Not in the slightest.
Clayton Backston: ...Right. Just me, then.

After turning it in they start to walk away

Chadwick Paxton: All right, move out! We have more o this place to scout, and we can't get ourselves ambushed again.
Anna Bizrim: I don't think that's our fault, boss, given that we were attacked by a group that wasn't supposed to be here
Clayton Backston: We should've seen the attack coming. Who was supposed to be the lookout?
Timothy Zarltin: It was Tucker. The sethrak killed him first.
Clayton Backston: Tucker! Should have known. At least he paid the price for his incompetence.
Chadwick Paxton: Keep it down! Lady Sylvanas won't be happy if we fail our mission.
Ingrid Bellix: Is she ever happy, boss?
Chadwick Paxton: She will be if we do our jobs properly, Ingrid.

After you overload the Skycaller gem and levitate on top of the spire, you can cast Judgment Bolt with the extra button that appears, which calls down a devastating lightning, fading momentarily the screen to white. Both the name and the visual effect are a clear reference to the signature ability of Ramuh, a recurring entity in the Final Fantasy series.
