Soft Packaging

Soft Packaging is a quest for level 15-30 in Dragonblight. It is step 139 of 149 in the Dragonblight storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Dragonblight at 54.7, 23.2. It rewards 4,100 experience and money.

Description

I need some new packaging for the shrapnel bombs. All the stuff I have is too hard and the shrapnel doesn't spread when it bursts.

What we need is some really thin animal hide. Those jormungar tunnelers to the west might work... or perhaps the condors sifting through the dragon bones. Go get me whatever you can find.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Shaved IceDragonblight · Level 15-30

I've never seen you before... are you new to the Vice? Glad to have you. I could always use some more hands. You get the materials, I'll finish my machine, then we can sell it to those commander types and all go home rich.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Something That Doesn't MeltDragonblight · Level 15-30

No no no! Those ice shards didn't work at all! They'll melt before they even do any damage. That's the last time I'll trust Narf's word on materials. This means we need something else entirely for the shrapnel. I know! I'm brilliant. Bone splinters.
