Soothing Song

Soothing Song is a quest for level 10-57 in Ardenweald. It is step 2 of 7 in the This Is the Way storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Ardenweald at 62.3, 45.6. It rewards 7,750 experience and money.

Description

I will fly ahead to Hibernal Hollow and convince the Droman Aliothe to help us. Hopefully she will have agreed by the time you and Niya arrive.

This wildseed seems to take comfort in your presence, so you'll need to stick close to it.

Niya will also need to sing to the wildseed to keep it calm... or else the nightmares may return.

Spriggans love to interrupt our songs, so be on the lookout for them.

Let me know when you're ready to head off.

The second ambush of 4 mobs utterly $%^&ing destroyed my shadow priest. Shield and Shadowmend couldn't save me and I had nowhere near enough AoE dmg to kill them even close to fast enough. No other quest in shadowlands levelling (so far) has completely merked me this hard. Seems kinda broken.

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Way to Hibernal HollowArdenweald · Level 10-57

I've never seen a wildseed quite like this one. Even the ones that bonded with their caretakers in the past never manifested nightmares like this. Then again, we've also never had a living mortal in our midst. We need to bring this wildseed to Hibernal Hollow.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Remnants of the Wild HuntArdenweald · Level 10-57

The Wild Hunt is holding the line against these monsters, lest they overrun the road to Hibernal Hollow. Too many of my fellow hunters have been possessed by the dark magic of those twisted masks. But with you here, we might be able to turn the tide.
