What to do

StorylineGrizzly Hills, step 40 of 115

Description

Orlond's notes indicate that he brought a piece of equipment called a portable seismograph with him, but the device is nowhere to be seen. The survey log shows that Orlond completed all his readings in the Thor Modan tunnel, save one labeled the 'east end of the exposed tunnel.' The last entry in the log indicates Orlond tried to take refuge in the water and was attacked by subterranean threshers. They might've taken his equipment. You'll need to recover it before you can take the last reading.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Fate of OrlondGrizzly Hills · Level 15-30

When we began excavating the city, I sent Surveyor Orlond to check the stability of the tunnels in Thor Modan. I didn't see him escape when we withdrew at the beginning of the battle, and I worry he may still be trapped inside the city.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Check Up on RaegarGrizzly Hills · Level 15-30

With all the excitement about the army trying to move through Thor Modan, I'd almost forgotten about Raegar's crew down at Prospector's Point. I sent Raegar and his assistants, along with a mountaineer friend, down to establish a small post near Dun Argol, at the southern end of the Eastwind Shore.
