As the world quest of a similar name does not yet have its own entry, I shall put a note here.

World quest:
Technoscrying: The Mysteries of Dragonskull Island

Not every item is certain to be inside the cave. (There may be several configurations of this world quest.)
Today, I found an item at the mouth of the cave nearest to Zenata.

If the quest list doesn't give you a button to turn on the goggles then you can bring up the scrying mode via the chat command:

/use technoscryers

You do not have to have the goggles in your bag, or even own them at all (i destroyed mine long ago).

Description

I tuned my various sensors for Dracthyr relics, and they've triangulated a new location for us to investigate off the eastern coast of the Forbidden Reach. The local Drakonid tell me it's named Dragonskull Island. Ominous, no? You're not easily frightened, are you?

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • A Taste of the PastLevel 70

Usually, we go to great lengths to avoid busting artifacts open, but I think in this case we'll learn more about the past from what's inside than just staring at a sealed barrel. That said, there's someone we should get permission from first. It's her history, after all.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Fate of Scalecommander AberethLevel 70

According to our colleagues, this cave was used to test prospective scalecommanders. Excuse me. It either tested them or housed their remains. The trials were so difficult that it usually amounted to the same thing.
