Too Many Mouths to Feed

Too Many Mouths to Feed is an Alliance-only quest for level 10-30 in Zangarmarsh. It is step 16 of 64 in the Zangarmarsh storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Zangarmarsh at 67.8, 47.9. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 4,100 experience and money.

Description

On my last hunting trip, I caught sight of a new outpost being built by a group of trolls. No doubt they've begun hunting these lands, too.

If they establish a permanent presence out here, the competition for food will be fierce. We cannot take direct action against them without provocation, but we can remove some of the natural competition for food.

For each mire hydra you kill, that's three fewer mouths to feed!

If you want a never-ending source of free water breathing potions, just accept this quest to get the potion, then abandon the quest. You'll keep the potion and can accept the quest again once the charges run out for another free 3 hours of potion. ~_O

Once completed, you can't get the potion anymore.

Umbra lake is near cenarion refuge.

Coords: 78.66 (is very big lake) and the hydras are at the margins of the lake. In any case you don`t need to enter in water. Try move around the cenarion coast(east one), the nagas coast ...is hard because is imposible to don`t agro.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Messenger to the FeralfenZangarmarsh · Level 10-30

The time has come for us to embrace the Feralfen and teach them that the Light has not forsaken them. Take the potion I've prepared and carry it with you to the Boha'mu Ruins. Once you arrive at the ruins, drink the potion to assume the form of one of their bird spirits.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Diaphanous WingsZangarmarsh · Level 10-30

Living in such a remote location has taught us to make use of everything available. Of course, you have to learn to stop thinking about where some of these materials come from first. I've found that the wings of the umbraglow stingers are very helpful for waterproofing.
