The Sharpest Blades

The Sharpest Blades is a Horde-only quest for level 10-30 in Zangarmarsh. It is step 55 of 64 in the Zangarmarsh storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Zangarmarsh at 31.6, 49.2. It rewards 4 reward items, 1 reputation reward, 4,100 experience and money. Completing it counts toward 1 achievement.

Description

The damp atmosphere of the marsh has taken a toll on my metal tools. It's made woodworking a lot more difficult than it ought to be, so I've given up on metal blades.

It turns out that the marshfang slicers living to the south and west of town grow blades that are sharper than any steel I've ever owned. They're also resistant to rust and wear. It's just a little tricky to attach them to a handle, but I think I've got it figured out. I'd appreciate any blades you could bring me.

I don't remember this being a 100% drop rate but now it is.

These are found in far larger numbers to the South of Zabra'jin rather than to the east. Check south of the road that runs east<-> west below town.
