Wormtalon Wreckage is a quest for level 10-45 in Val'sharah. It is step 1 of 2 in the Shadowfen Sorrows storyline, the opening step. The quest's turn-in marker is in Val'sharah at 69.5, 49.3. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 6,150 experience and money.
As if Shaladrassil's encroaching roots were not enough to deal with, now the Wormtalon harpies have come to take advantage of our plight.
Kill them, <race>. They deserve nothing less for feeding on our misery.

If you're here during legion remix, you need to do some of the main storyline before this quest will show up. I'm not exactly sure how far you have to get, but probably at least to the part where you're running around with Tyrande looking for corrupted Malfurion
If you die and forgot where the entrance to the cave is - it's at 68.3 50.5
Yes, you have to complete Into the NIghtmare (https://www.wowhead.com/storyline/into-the-nightmare-188)

Is this the end? Our beloved Malfurion. I saw him in the Dreamer's clutches, but Ysera was... changed. Twisted. Shaladrassil, our mighty world tree, is corrupted beyond recognition. We were forced to flee our home without our belongings. Some were heirlooms, sacred to us.
