Wormthorn's Dream

Wormthorn's Dream is an Alliance-only quest for level 15-30 in Blasted Lands. It is step 49 of 56 in the Blasted Lands storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Blasted Lands at 46.4, 87.2. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 5,150 experience and money.

Description

Not surprisingly, most of our citizens in Surwich did not come to the Blasted Lands for the pleasant atmosphere. They came following the dream of an idealistic druid: Marl Wormthorn. Wormthorn believed that the Tainted Scar could be healed, and attempted to grow it back.

It looks like he was wrong. He grew his forest, but the land is still plagued by demons, and his great-tree is twisted and gnarled.

I'm still hopeful. Maybe if we head into the Tainted Forest and clear out some of the taint...

If you have difficulty finding the Felspore Bog Lords required for the quest, ignore the area indicated by the ingame map, as they are actually to be found clustered around a pond centred on a giant mushroom at the very far end of the Lake (at about co-ordinates 33, 77).

Confirmed.... This quest on my tracker showed the Felspore Bog Lords somewhere by the mobs of Defilers, Treants and Destroyers but, they are in fact huddled around the mushrooms at 33,78 as Yukon pointed out above. Happy hunting!

Neptool's RevengeBlasted Lands · Level 15-30
No number of naga deaths will bring back the Rockpool tribe, but any amount of revenge will help the spirits of my people rest more easily. Many of the more powerful Bloodwash have set up a fortress in the caverns to the northwest. Slay them, in the name of the Rockpool.

Advice from the Cenarion CircleBlasted Lands · Level 15-30
I believe that the taint of the Blasted Lands has finally exerted its influence over my friend Wormthorn. His experiment has failed, and his great-tree now only serves as a focus for the demons to rally around. The tree must come down, and Wormthorn with it.
