It seems that, as of now, this daily research will teach you the following glyphs:

Priest:
Glyph of Shadow Word: Death
Glyph of Vampiric Embrace
Glyph of Confession
Glyph of the Heavens
Glyph of Holy Ressurection
Glyph of Shadowy Friends
Glyph of the Val'kyr

Warrior:
Glyph of Incite
Glyph of Blazing Trail
Glyph of Burning Anger
Glyph of Crow Feast

Hunter:
Glyph of Black Ice
Glyph of Direction
Glyph of Marking

Paladin:
Glyph of Battle Healer
Glyph of Mass Exorcism
Glyph of Bladed Judgment
Glyph of Falling Avenger
Glyph of Focused Wrath
Glyph of Righteous Retreat

Druid:
Glyph of the Cheetah

Monk:
Glyph of Blackout Kick
Glyph of Breath of Fire
Glyph of Clash
Glyph of Enduring Healing Sphere
Glyph of Expel Harm
Glyph of Guard
Glyph of Honor
Glyph of Jab
Glyph of Mana Tea
Glyph of Rising Tiger Kick
Glyph of Spinning Fire Blossom
Glyph of Spirit Roll
Glyph of Transcendence
Glyph of Water Roll
Glyph of Zen Flight

Edit: And here's the monk part for you guys. It seems they still didn't link glyphs with the research.
Edit 2: The Glyph of Blackout Kick suffered heavy downrate trolls, to help anyone who ends on that page seeking for the information, any help would be welcome, no comment deserves such a treatement.
Edit 3: Thanks to the supports, it's at least back to visible now.
Edit 4: The Glyph of Breath of Fire comment seems to also have suffered heavy trollrate. Any help on simply making it back to visible is welcome. As long as it stays visible to allow the eyes of those who seek such information to find them, I do not care a single bit about if it's positive or negative rating.

This does NOT share a cooldown with [spell=61177]. I was able to do both last night.
It looks like they allow you to discover separate sets of glyphs, though, with Scroll of Wisdom allowing you to discover the new level 595 glyphs and [spell=61177] allowing you to discover all level 390 and 430 glyphs. That's right, glyphs previously only discoverable with a [item=45912] can now be discovered with [spell=61177].
All in all, if you are starting inscription in Mists of Pandaria, there are three different researches that you can perform every day: [spell=61288], [spell=61177] and Scroll of Wisdom.

UPDATE: After discovering all of the skill level 595 glyphs (all 36 of them), I just discovered [spell=64291] with a scroll of wisdom. So while they start by letting you discover the new glyphs, they will actually let you discover anything else!
Since [spell=61177] requires a rare ink, it may be actually cheaper for you to use these scrolls to discover the few WOTLK glyphs you were missing (provided you're not in any hurry).

Open an Inscription panel first!
Use this command line to print how many glyps you've learned of each class. (only works enGB/enUS)

It should be noticed that, by doing this research, you can also discover glyph crafts previously unknown that are learned through other researches, such as northrend inscription research. It's unknown if this is intended but currently it works in this way. This is extremely useful since the old research are much more expensive than this.

For my example, I got glyph of fire blast and glyph of scattering on two of my alts today.

briansavka+17via Wowhead (opens the original comment in a new tab)

Updated for the total number of glyphs available.

A helpful script that tracks how many glyphs you have and the amount of days left until you have learned them all at 3 new glyphs a day.

/run local name,type local f=0 for i=1,GetNumTradeSkills() do name, type, _, _, _, _= GetTradeSkillInfo(i) if (name and type ~= "header" and string.find(name,"Glyph")) then f=f+1 end end do print(f.."/406"); print(math.ceil((406-f)/3).." days left") end

Make sure you have the inscription window open for this macro to work.

nytetears+14via Wowhead (opens the original comment in a new tab)

I had learned all the pandaria level glyphs and when I researched this again it actually taught me a Northrend level glyph so it seems to be backwards compatible if you will.

That means no more searching for the Northrend herbs.
Or at least I hope it was not a bug.

Lilyoptra+8via Wowhead (opens the original comment in a new tab)

This seems to serve no purpose other than giving skill points in 8.0. I learned all the Glyphs listed By Gorta (10,173 – 2·8·60) on 2012/09/04 (Patch 5.0.4) (that are still in game) with Research: Blackfallow Ink which is Cata. Not sure if it would have taught me anything if I still needed them.

Altaria+7via Wowhead (opens the original comment in a new tab)

Blizzard really needs to remove the whole "One research per day" thing. This is the only profession that takes over 100 days to complete due to you having to research.

Yes i am aware that jewelcrafters need to do dailies, but at least they are garanteed to get something, where as scribes may just get a buff scroll and learn no new glyph.

422399+6via Wowhead (opens the original comment in a new tab)

The way that it is working currently on beta is that you create a scroll once a day. This scroll will always proc a glyph you haven't learned. The "may" in the language I believe is simply a cover for the fact that once you have learned all the glyphs you won't get to learn any more glyphs.

The bigger problem for scribes is that this scroll is ties to our Darkmoon card of the Mists, currently. Which means that it will take a very long time to create a Darkmoon deck. No more making hoarding mats and making 100 cards at a time. You will be forced to trade or buy via the AH.

ive been doing this daily for the passed two months.. and ive been getting repeats from LK, does it ever just stop saying you learn something? im not sure that i havent already gotten the ones it keeps listing, as of now i have 40+ and ive used countless for the inscription gear.

Stargazer+4via Wowhead (opens the original comment in a new tab)

I don't think you can learn the Painting, Portrait, Jade Disk or Mystery items from this. I learned the Commissioned Painting (do not know the other 3) from a quest in The Arboretum. I've also learned every glyph from Mop and my Scroll of Wisdom today taught me NO NEW ITEMS at all.

This will make your life easier! Try it out.
To make this work; you have to run the script in the chat box (you copy-paste it and press enter) and it will create an icon that you can drag onto your bars.

I have done this research twice so far and it has created it both times Since a lot of Darkmoon items require it for construction, I would assume the actual scroll is a 100% creation rate from this recipe.

Maldai+0via Wowhead (opens the original comment in a new tab)

Could you edit the above to put 405 instead? Glyph of Supernova is listed under the Inscription spell list but it doesn't actually seem to be real in game as my warlock doesn't show that glyph as being possible. I was wondering why none of my discoveries were learning anything more.

FrostWolf219+0via Wowhead (opens the original comment in a new tab)

When has this ever happened to you except when you finish the researches your inscription level allows? After leveling through an inscription character I have only not gotten a new glyph from a research when I have learned all I can learn at that level of inscription. The description says you "may" learn but I have yet to not learn a new recipe and when I stop learning it will likely be because I learned them all.

aislin2476-2via Wowhead (opens the original comment in a new tab)

I had only four things left to learn that required Scroll of Wisdom: Commissioned Painting, Portrait of Madame Goya, Engraved Jade Disk, and Mystery of the Mists. I was thinking that SURELY I'd learn one of these today when I did my scroll of wisdom, but instead I learned Glyph of Solar Beam.

I was only mildly surprised that it would make me learn an older glyph by doing this research since Northrend research now lets you learn glyphs previously only learned by Book of Glyph Mastery, but thoroughly pissed that it's making me learn older glyphs before letting me learn to make a Darkmoon card. It seems like this research should let you learn ALL Mists of Pandaria Inscription spells BEFORE making you learn older stuff.
