These can be traded for Engineering recipes such as the new Lifelike Mechanical Frostboar and other Draenor battle pet schematics, Blingtron 5000, ilvl 640 gear, World Shrinker toy, and other schematics of interest.
For Horde, in Warspear the Goblin you want is Nik Steelrings. He is standing inside Gallywix's Garage near some stacked brown barrels. For those with TomTom Coordinates, he is at 70.37, 38.99. For those without coordinates, on the map, you will see two light gray buildings on the east side, the Garage is the southern one.
For Alliance, in Stormshield the Gnome you want is Sean Catchpole, near the center of your map.
If you have placed the Engineering Works building in your garrison, you can trade for recipes there as well. For Horde you want Pozzlow, for Alliance you will be looking for Zaren Hoffle.

Do these have any use once you've acquired all the draenor recipes? I guess I should keep collecting them in case they add some more in the future, but was wondering if they can be used in any other quests, etc
So it seems like with at least some if not most of the other professions, once you've bought all available recipes, you can trade these profession books for small pouches of gold. Why does engineering not have this? The books essentially become worthless. I was hoping it was an oversight and Blizz would fix it with 6.1 but it looks like no dice.

It looks like you need 28 of these to get all the Draenor schematics.
This might be good information for anyone who makes these daily like I do, yet haven't actually bought a schematic yet.
They're worth 3 gold each to the vendor. Just buy a 1 [item=119299] recipe, then sell them after you've played the game for 2 hours. Vendoring the materials (5 of True Iron Ore) only gets you 75 silver.

How do you acquire them so you can buy recipes?
Look in your [skill=202] profession book under Reagents and Research, Secrets of Draenor Engineering is the [skill=202] crafting spell to make [item=119299].
You actually need 38. Blackrock Rifling and Morden's Magnificent Contraption cost five Secrets each, but they don't show up until you learn the level 2 upgrade schematics.
Don't make my foolish mistake - buying a recipe and refunding it back to vendor gives you a SMALL amount of cash and not the token back... so no forgiveness if you miss click.
Sell it within 2 hours and you get a refund of the token.
No; once you learn all the recipes you want to, or can, the only thing you can do with these is vendor them.
The pouches only sell for 1-2g anyway, not worth it. You can often buy other recipes you've already learned and sell them, or better off just not making the book and selling your mats.

As of 11.0, there have been API changes to the original PickUpSpell() command, so that no longer works. Use /run C_Spell.PickupSpell() now instead.
