You are able to find this recipe on any Pandaria Mob as long as you max out your engineering skill.
This is used to make Sky Golem (not restricted to engineers), and requires 30 x [item=94113] which are bop (which means 30 days for each Sky Golem creation).

This has been hotfixed to also require an Anvil now, between yesterday and today. Discovered such just seconds ago. @.@
So no more energy sources being made on-the-fly out in the field. Either start keeping Thermal Anvils on hand, or be ready to head back to a village, town, or city to make 'em.
Here's a quick and easy one-button macro to use your daily cooldown
/run C_TradeSkillUI.OpenTradeSkill(202)
/run C_TradeSkillUI.CraftRecipe(139176, 1)
The first line opens your Engineering tradeskill (more info here: https://wow.gamepedia.com/API_C_TradeSkillUI.OpenTradeSkill )Second line crafts Jard's, using the crafting spell ID (which you can see in the URL above, "spell=XXXXX"
(Don't forget to drop your thermal anvil first)
People are selling that high because of the once a day time factor from the Energy Source. It will obviously go down over time, but right now you are paying for getting it early.

1.800 gold can't be written as 1800k. It's either 1.8k, or 1.800 gold. You wrote it down as 1.800.000.000 gold.
Or Sky Golem...

As of 11.0, there have been API changes to the original PickUpSpell() command, so that no longer works. Use /run C_Spell.PickupSpell() now instead.

I don't think this works anymore. At least, it didn't work for me yesterday.
It's still on a daily cooldown as of 5.4.
Somehow I got all mixed up and read that the journal was so you could make more than one a day and I farmed for days trying to get something I already had but at least I was getting Golden Lotus rep and some mats too.
Greed Factor :
30 Living Steel = 30 x 400g = 12.000 g
30 [item=94113] x 10 Ghost Iron Bar = 300 = 120g each stack = 1800k
total 13.800g
selling for 210k
