Tanaris Quests

This is a complete run through for the Tanaris Quests achievement from the Alliance perspective . There is some phasing involved, especially around quests with Kelsey Steelspark. It took approximately 2 hours to go through, and have done this twice with different solo classes in the 45-55 level range.

Start in Gadgetzan, pick up the flight point there, and follow the running order. You'll end up back at Gadgetzan afterwards.
I've also made comment of flight points that you can pick up as travel Tanaris.

Southsea Pirates
From [npc=38535] in Gadgetzan pick up and do these two quests.

Next is the single vehicle quest.

As a side note, I gained the Going Down? achievement during it.
Pick up the breadcrumb quest to move over to "Lost Rigger Cove".

Turn into [npc=38704] at her new location in Lost Rigger Cove.


Pick up and run these quests. Note you're going to fight pirates. There are 'red' goblins in area but I didn't encounter problems with them. Perhaps care needed with area effect spells and aggro hungry pets.

Turn in and move onto the next two.

That first quest to take out [npc=40593] can be tricky depending on your class. He's found on the lower deck of the ship, and to get to him goes through a few mobs. They are regular, not elites, but can be a bit rough with their area effect spells and damage.


Finish off the Southsea Pirate task, with this single quest.

Bug Free


Pick up the breadcrumb quest to move over to "Bootlegger Outpost".

Skinners are going to like those, as it can take several kills to find the quest items and the mobs are skinnable!

After a quick run out to tag a swarmer and bring it back is this.

Use the ability and follow the trail, that takes to the cave entrance at 55 79. In there continue to the rock at 44 56. Detonate! This will return you back to the quest npc. Turn in completes, Bug Free.

Advancing Our Interests


From [npc=11811] get the breadcrumb quest, to head south to Steelspark Station.

For these two, suggest focus on the small cube boxes to find the [item=52279] then mop up kills outstanding.

The Titans


There is the breadcrumb quest to head west to Southmoon Ruins.

For the next one, it's a run west again and find the door at 38 78. Straight through for a short run south to a turn in chest.

There is the breadcrumb quest from [npc=38578] to return back to Gadgetzan.

and one quest which end in Uldum and its not possible done it for me The Secrets of Uldum.

If you are concern about losing the rep with the Bloodsail Buccaneers like I am.

When I start this quest, I had already 7/40. Im not sure if 7 was leftover from pre-cata or anything, Not even sure if it was any quest lost rep... But when I did rest of 37 Quest and I did not single lost any of Rep with Bloodsail. So safe enough to say It's O.K. To do the quest Tanaris. =)

Oh and only ONE quest that I can think of that you WOULD lost rep with Bloodsail Is by doing this quest. Rescue OOX-17/TN!

p.s. (I have rep exalted with goblin and honor Bloodsail from pre-cata so I can do quest with goblin even while my Bloodsail being neutral due to STV quest made me lost some rep heh.)
