These guys are outside through on the south side of the main compound.

So run through the general melee in the compound (easy run), then you'll see them.

Their camp runs around the bend as well, so there are plenty of them.

Most drop 3 teeth at a time, some 2 and some 1, so quick to collect.

This was a pretty challenging quest for me -- not so much because any individual mob was particularly difficult (using level 47 shadow priest) but because of a combination of factors: (a) the fact that the strongarms pull you in close to them, and (b) if there are several mobs close to the strongarm, they will likely aggro you as well AND (c) the musketeers will shoot from a distance. Also, these mobs have a bad habit of running away when almost dead -- and the strongarms will then pull you in again, and if they are near more mobs... it doesn't end quickly or easily.

The bottom line is that it's not easy to get these mobs on you one at a time. And with the running away, I found myself using Shadow Word:Death very frequently before they could run. It was a real mana suck because of that and because it was hard to "take a breather" quickly and often meant killing 3-4 mobs in quick succession without a chance for mana regen. I would guess that this is much easier for, say, a tank warrior.

As for the comment above, most of the mobs I found had only one gold tooth and none had three, making the need for 20 of them annoyingly high. (Your mileage may vary, but that was mine.)

Description

I know we're here to make friends with the Steamwheedle goblins, but those awful Bilgewater goblins are so rude. Why, I just saw a bunch of them pulling gold fillings out of the teeth of the Southsea musketeers and strongarms. Do they think they can just take that for themselves? Obviously, the nice thing to do is kill those pirates ourselves, take their fillings, and then give some of them to the Steamwheedle as a thank-you gift! Head on down there and beat those goblins to the punch.

Before this quest

  • Going Off-TaskTanaris · Level 15-30

That nasty ship on the east side of the cove keeps firing its cannons at us. It's kinda funny seeing all the goblins get hit by cannonballs, but some of my gnome friends are being hit too! It'd be really, really nice if you could make your way past those cannons and onto the ship.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Captain DreadbeardTanaris · Level 15-30

This is getting pretty fun, but let's not forget we're here for Gnomeregan! We spotted the captain of the Southsea over on one of his boats to the south, past where all the fighting is. He's all alone on his little boat, undefended!
