An Improper Burial

An Improper Burial is a quest for level 15-30 in Terokkar Forest. It is step 76 of 78 in the Terokkar Forest storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Terokkar Forest at 31.0, 76.1. It rewards 1 reputation reward and 4,100 experience.

Description

Is there nothing that can be done to stem the tide of corruption? My soldiers have been battling the Auchenai for days now with no end in sight. Each casualty, whether Auchenai or Sha'tar, is snatched from the battlefield - their souls lifted and taken to parts unknown.

I will not have it! A proper burial is out of the question but those fiends will not have their souls! Take this torch and travel to the field of battle, directly east of here. Burn every corpse you see! We will not fuel their rituals.

For whatever reason, the bodies on the ground are not actually labeled as initiates and guardians. Auchenai warriors and vindicators are the only corpses in the area, and using your Sha'tar Torch will burn them, giving you credit for what it thinks are initiates and guardians.

The corpses can be found at (35, 75), southwest of Auchidoun, just below the 'A' in Auchidoun.

There's a good way to find out if the bodies are burnable:

Target the corpse and if they appear as neutral towards you, they can be burned.
They spawn dead unlike the other mobs. Also The Sha'tar warriors that burn can be
found with Slain -infront of their their name. Hope this helps!
