The Big Bone Worm

The Big Bone Worm is a quest for level 15-30 in Terokkar Forest. It is step 75 of 78 in the Terokkar Forest storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Terokkar Forest at 31.0, 76.2. It rewards 3 reward items, 1 reputation reward and 5,150 experience. Completing it counts toward 2 achievements.

Description

I was right! These carcasses you brought me belong to maturing worms. Do you know what that means? It means that somewhere out there is a big one! I think we can get it to come out if we can provide the right kind of food. Let's see... something big! Yes!

I remember seeing clefthooves east of here on the other side of the Bone Wastes. Get out there and kill a clefthoof. Once it's dead, use the drums. Hopefully the big one will come up to feed. If you manage to kill it, bring me its organs!

Easiest Method Ever, Kill him in 1 shot. (Sound impossible? Its not =) )

You may need a timer mod, he will despawn 3 minutes after he is spawned regardless of his current health or if he is in combat.

Summon him, wait 2 minutes 50 seconds, shoot him.

Survive the next 10 seconds and he dies and is lootable if you have him tagged.
