Battle Pet Tamers: Northrend

Here is my Quicklist Guide to the Northrend Section of the Pet Trainer Quests. This is a quick reference to see what type of pets you will need to defeat the trainers easily. On Trainers who have the same type of pet for all 3 pets in their party, I would recommend you bring at least two pets that are the opposite type (i.e. bring three appropriate leveled Mechanical types to fight three trainer Beasts). Don't rely on fighting all three of their pets with just one of yours, despite the fact that they will have stronger attacks and defeat them quicker.

Northrend Trainer Quest Line

To defeat these trainers with maximum efficiency, you will need pets of the following type:
Magic, Flying, Critter, Humanoid, Mechanical, Beast

Beegle Blastfuse – Howling Fjord – Level 25
Quickteam List – Magic, Flying
Pet 1: Dinner – Flying – Use Magic
Pet 2: Gobbles – Flying – Use Magic
Pet 3: Warble – Aquatic – Use Flying

Nearly Headless Jacob – Crystalsong Forest – Level 25
Quickteam List - Critter
Pet 1: Stitch – Undead – Use Critter
Pet 2: Spooky Strangler - Undead – Use Critter
Pet 3: Mort - Undead – Use Critter

Okrut Dragonwaste – Dragonblight – Level 25

While dangerfox does an excellent job of telling you which classes have the strongest attacks against your opponents attacking doesn't mean much without some defense, especially if you don't have a ton of Lvl 25 pets lying around. With the undead used by Nearly Headless Jacob I went in with 3 aquatic pets, two of which had critter-class attacks. My pets were only Lvl 21-22 and I managed to defeat him. Choose classes your opponent is weak against first then find the best attacks from within that class. It will make all your fights a lot easier, especially if your pets aren't maxed.
