Cut the Roots

Cut the Roots is a quest for level 10-56 in Ardenweald. It is step 6 of 8 in the An Ominous Stone storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Ardenweald at 74.3, 32.3. It rewards 1 reputation reward, 11,450 experience and money.

Description

It's just as I feared, friend. The entire village is turned, just like Lavrash.

Lewor would have transformed the other elders as soon as possible. They are all strong in their own right. Brave Fiona, clever Bitterfly....

It pains me to say this, but they must be destroyed. For the good of Ardenweald and the forest, slay our former leaders before they can infect the rest of the land!

Where to go

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • The Crumbling VillageArdenweald · Level 10-56

This journal belonged to Lewor, the leader of our grove. It says he found something to use against the gorm, but what if it caused all this? There is only one way to be sure. Come with me to the village. Or what remains of it.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Take the PowerArdenweald · Level 10-56

Wait! Before you enter, I would ask something of you. While we have not had a wildseed in some time, we did keep stores of anima. It served us well in staving off the gorm. Whatever has happened to my village, I do not want this power to remain in their hands.
