TheWoWDBIt seems that you have to do that quest the same day you accept it. Else nothing will happen afterwards.
Had this with Defense At Niuzao Temple today I got several days ago. Went there and found the question mark, but then nothing, no other quests. I returned to [npc=64032] and he had a new daily quest for me Challenge At The Temple of the Red Crane. And there I found other daily quests.Those quests just lead you to the currently active daily quest hub.

I don't know if this is the case for anyone else, but WoW's in game quest helper seems to think the turn in for this is at Halfhill in Valley of the Four Winds, even though the quest clearly points you to Townlong.
