Description

This place is where the merchant, Ariden, set up camp while he was trying to ply his dubious wares to the sorcerer Medivh. It has remained strangely untouched for all this time, which leads me to believe it may still have a connection to its former owner. Help me search the camp. Let's see if we can find something to lead us to the Dark Riders.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Following the CurseLevel 10-45

Very well. I suppose an introduction is in order. I am Revil Kost, priest of the Light and a seeker of lost artifacts. I've dealt with the Dark Riders before, and have returned to rid this place of them. The Riders are elusive, but I may have a clue to their whereabouts.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • A Grisly TaskLevel 10-45

Wet soil? Shallow graves? I think the journal is referring to the gravesites off of the lake near Karazhan. Nobody knows who is buried there, but they may be the key to finding the Dark Riders. You can... speak to the dead, yes?
