Diversionary Tactics

Diversionary Tactics is an Alliance-only quest for level 20-60 in Drustvar. It is step 5 of 8 in the Alpine Rise storyline. The quest's turn-in marker is in Drustvar at 44.8, 28.6. It rewards 10,200 experience and money.

Description

Our destination is that cottage up ahead. I know it doesn't look like much, but a great deal of history is hidden inside.

First, though, we'll need to deal with that massive yeti camped just outside. I'd hate to ask it of you, but I'll need you to draw his attention so I can slip inside.

Once you've taken care of him, I'll meet you within.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Salvage RightsDrustvar · Level 20-60

This poor trader was set upon by the yetis. There's nothing we can do for him now, but we would be remiss to let his supplies be laid to waste by these brutes. See if you can find any supplies worth salvaging. You can use Bella as a pack horse. Don't worry, she's a brave mare.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Unlocking HistoryDrustvar · Level 20-60

I'm sure you're wondering why I've brought you here. Located somewhere inside this cottage is a hidden door. If we can find a way to access it, the answer to your questions, and possibly our survival against the coven, should lie beyond. Help me search for it, <class>.
