It's my favorite <race>!

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Fox BaneThe Oasis · Level 80

You have done well with the slatebacks. Will you do as well with the thorntails? If we are to improve their numbers, we will need some of their astral essence to produce new ones. Procure it for me.

After this quest

  • What Does the Fox Dream? The Oasis · Level 80

I'd like to get some medical data on how the thorntails are doing. Please gather some blood samples for me. Use these to tranquilize the creatures. There should be more than enough blood for sampling on the darts when you retrieve them.
