If you don't feel like farming for this and you have a couple of Blood of Sargeras to spare, you can just buy these from Illnea Bloodthorn (44.61, 32.1; or for those without coords, she's standing right next to the herbalist greenhouse) in Dalaran and it'll count towards the quest.
More Blizzard headaches...
The run line says true but my herbalism shows I still need to learn it and no quest in sight for it.

Description
To one not trained in herbalism, this brambly bush might appear to be entirely useless. Your training, however, reveals this to be a very special plant indeed. Your herbalism trainer in Dalaran will want to see some more samples of this.
