Doing this quetline as a Horde character feels... awkward at best, and honestly sad. I initially thought this would be the chance for Horde characters to acknowledge the elephant in the room when it comes to the Haranir and the Burning of Teldrassil, especially when the Haranir that we help throughout this questline, Teldrassil's former warden Hagar, is the one that brings up the Haranir from the roots and to the surface for them to join both factions.

I mean, sure, a huge portion if not most of the Horde playerbase never liked that it was our faction who actually burned it, and like my character we betrayed Sylvanas and served as Varok's spy as soon as we were able to, but even if my character didn't actually burn the tree, I was still there during the BfA pre-expansion event, it really feels like there should be a moment to acknowledge this with the Haranir or at least with Hagar.

Description

Thank you for tending to those fires, {name}. While you were gone, I've used that sludge to make a salve. Help me spread it over Teldrassil's roots. It may take years to see a difference, if we ever do. But though I failed, I made oaths to her, and I can still choose to keep them. I will never stop doing what I can to... help her perhaps grow again. If I do not succeed, the next Rootwarden, or the one who comes after that, may be the one to finish this work. Even so, I shall not stop trying.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
