For Violence's Sake

For Violence's Sake is a quest for level 88-90 in Voidstorm. It is step 3 of 5 in The Nightbreaker storyline. It rewards 12,850 experience and money.

Description

Like many warlocks, I bind my demons with terms of a contract. I should have realized the Void and violence of this world could affect the rules I took for granted. Kalgorg used that power to break its bindings and end our arrangement.

When we confront Kalgorg, the scent of blood and violence must be upon us. Slay the beasts you find to demonstrate to Kalgorg we are willing to do the same to it. Control over the Void is found and lost within the blink of an eye.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • UnlimitedVoidstorm · Level 88-90

Now, we descend. The Void energy below is unlike any I've felt before, as if gravity itself yields to the Void. Once you enter the cave, its influence will be upon you. Kalgorg has already slain and claimed power from the creatures within.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Smothered in the CribVoidstorm · Level 88-90

I summoned my first imp in a dirty, haze-filled lounge beneath Murder Row after a dozen failed attempts. Each time, I reached further for what made so-called greater powers submit to mortals. I finally managed it after wetting my hands with the hot blood of a young rabbit.
