Lazy of the devs to not add a direct portal to New Tinkertown.

There is a teleporter you can use to get out of the dungeon. Without using items or spells the fastest way to return to New Tinkertown might be Ulduar > (flight) > Dalaran > (portal) > Stormwind > (Deeprun Tram) > Ironforge > New Tinkertown.
Instead of the Deeprun Tram you can also take the portal to Boralus and from there take the portal to Ironforge.

Description
That was a close one, but we managed to defeat Sparkspanner! Gnomanity and Azeroth are saved from a threat they didn't even know about. Hopefully, that's the last time we'll hear from any of Thermaplugg's old goons. We should return to Captain Sparknozzle. He will want a full report.
Where to go
Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.
