Also counts as a fishing pool if you are not on the quest but it does not disappear. I leveled my fishing on an alt from 1-50 in the same pool at 67.37 - just to see if it would fade away, caught only gray trash that sold for about 30g. If you don't want to chase fishing pools to level you could use it for that.
