When I tried to get this quest today, it wasn't available from this quest-giver. On the NPC page for Slain Watchmen some are saying it's been bugged for a while. In any case, after spending a few minutes waiting for it to appear, I logged and when I logged back in it was available.

Where to go

Pins are the quest’s own POI points from the current retail client, projected onto the in-game zone map. The game marks one blob as the quest’s turn-in; the rest are objective areas. Points that fall outside a map’s window are dropped rather than guessed at.

Where this quest fits

Before this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • In Need of IngredientsGilneas · Level 1-20

Ah, yes. The effects of the Curse cannot ever be fully cured as far as we know. With treatment, however, your mind will remain yours... and not that of a wild animal. We are fortunate that the treatment worked on you. Normally, I can only treat recent infections.

After this quest

Taken from the storyline's own step order.

  • Kill or Be KilledGilneas · Level 1-20

The reefs have always protected us from a coastal attack. The earthquakes must've opened a passage for the Forsaken ships. Quick, <name>. Slow down the attackers while I get the rest of the militia ready. I think I can hear the Prince and some of our men engaging the Forsaken even as we speak.

The storyline at a glance

Gilneas has 100 steps, from Lockdown! to Rut'theran Village.

Maps its steps are placed on (steps per map): Gilneas (89), Gilneas City (11).
