After you complete Last Stand and watch the cutscene, you also get an in-game cutscene, starting with Krennan Aranas standing next to your newly-transformed worgen character in stocks:
Krennan Aranas says: I am not giving up on you. I don't have a cure for the Curse yet... but there are treatments. You will have control again.Lord Godfrey walks up to you.
Lord Godfrey says: Give it up, Krennan. It's time to put this one down. It's protocol.King Genn Greymane walks up while Godfrey is speaking.
King Genn Greymane says: Tell me, Godfrey. Those that stayed in Gilneas City so that we could live. Were they following protocol?
King Genn Greymane says: I didn't think so. Now hand me that potion, Krennan... and double the dosage.
...What? You start this quest as a Worgen, for one, and, two, you're in stocks. You know, those things that close over your head and hands, restricting movement? Yeah. Meaning you've got to complete this quest if you want to get past level 5. ;)
