Description

I am Emberthal, a scalecommander of the dracthyr. Wrathion aided us after we awakened from our long stasis, and now it is my turn to help him.

No doubt you have questions about my people and our history. Until recently, I did as well.

But Nozdormu, the Timeless One, has revealed lost truths about the dracthyr. He granted me a vision of our origins... and why we were locked away.

Let me tell you of the things I have seen.

This quest has a different text if you accept it as a Dracthyr Evoker:

<name>! It is good to see you again. Wrathion aided us after we awakened from our long stasis, and now it is our turn to help him.

But first... there are things you must know.

After we left the Reach, I was granted visions by Nozdormu, the Timeless One. He showed me many truths about the dragons, Neltharion's fate, and our people's origins.

Let me tell you of the things I have seen. You must hear them for yourself.

After you watch the cinematic, the turn-in text is also different:

Now you know the truth, <name>.

The past is the past. Now we must look out for one another. For all dracthyr.

These eggs represent a new generation of dragonkind. They must be protected and fostered. Yet... my heart aches, and I worry for Wrathion. I fear his stubborn determination will lead to folly. You have been a trusted friend over the years, <name>. Perhaps you can go in my place, and help him.

After this quest

  • Sharp PracticeThe Waking Shores · Level 10-70

For years I have fostered the Blacktalon, teaching and encouraging them to pursue the same heights you have reached. They may not have achieved the same lofty goals as yourself, but they are accomplished in their own right. They've made me proud. Each would be honored if you test their skills.
